Location: Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky
KYSITE is pleased to announce the location of our 2008 Annual Meeting. Due to the success last year, it will be held again at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. The agenda for the evening is:
5:15 – 6:00 PM Distillery Tour (Optional)
6:00 – 6:30 PM Arrive / Social Hour / Begin Silent Auction
6:30 PM Dinner
7:00 – 7:45 PM KYSITE Traffic Bowl
7:45 PM Close Auction / Business Meeting
8:00 PM 2009 KYSITE Awards
8:05 PM Installation of 2010 Officers
8:10 PM Silent Auction Results
8:30 PM Close
Even though it is early, we have already received a great list of items for the silent auction including tickets to a Tennessee Titans football game and tickets to see Lance Burton in Las Vegas! There should be plenty of great items for you to bid on and raise lots of money for our scholarship fund!
Included in the price will be one ticket per person good for domestic beer, wine, or the local bourbon. Dinner will be a buffet consisting of salad, rolls, bourbon peach glazed chicken, slow roasted beef, corn pudding, parmesan red potatoes, and dessert. Soft drinks / lemonade / sweet tea will be available throughout.
We have tried very hard this year to put together a dynamic meeting at a fun location, and hope to see you there. Spouses / significant others / guests are encouraged to attend – the silent auction usually benefits!
The cost will be $25.00 member / $35.00 non-member. A member can bring one guest at the member price. We are greatly encouraging everyone to pay ahead of time via paypal as it will reduce the amount of work at the meeting (i.e. collecting money / handing out receipts). So if you would, please go ahead and use the link below to pre-pay for dinner. For those of you unable to do so online, we will accept cash and check at the door.
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Monday, November 2, 2009 – I need to know how many people are attending, and whether or not you plan on attending the tour of the distillery (included in the price of the dinner).
