Kentucky Section ITE helps sponsor the University of Kentucky chapter of ITE. The student chapter meets once or twice per semester and facilitates student interest in transportation engineering. Meeting topics include possible career paths, updates to transportation manuals, interesting transportation news, and much more. The student chapter participates in the SDITE Traffic Bowl competition each year.
