With the “William (Bill) Seymour Transportation Engineering Scholarship Award”, the Kentucky Section will award $2000 annually to a deserving student at an accredited Civil Engineering program in the state, specifically those with a strong commitment to transportation engineering.

Any Award Recipient must be a full-time student in an ABET accredited Civil Engineering program in the state of Kentucky and shall maintain full-time status during the academic year which the scholarship is to be applied.

Applicant must be accepted and enrolled in a full civil engineering program (NOT pre-engineering).

Applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to the discipline of Transportation Engineering in their coursework and outside activities.

Must be in attendance at two KYSITE meetings during the calendar year applying for scholarship (one of which must be the Annual Meeting which is when the successful scholarship candidate will be announced.)

Must be a current KYSITE member.
